The Ibis hotel in Thielle, a franchise of the Accor group, is a superior two-star hotel 5 minutes from Neuchâtel and 20 minutes from Berne. The hotel is located near the highway between Neuchâtel and Bienne. It consists of 60 rooms, a terrace, a bar and two meeting rooms. The Ibis hotel offers its clientele all the equipment necessary for the smooth running of their stay.
To complete our Front Office team, we are looking for a:

Rotating Welcomer Receptionist at 100%
(availability to work with staggered hours during the week as well as on weekends)

Your main missions:

• Welcome guests and ensure the follow-up of their stay (check-in / check-out)
• Guarantee an excellent level of service and customer satisfaction
• Manage telephone calls and respond to information requests
• Carry out reservations and their follow-up
• Perform administrative tasks related to the reception
• Anticipate the needs of clients and respond to them proactively
• Transmit important information to the different hotel departments
• Advise clients in order to contribute to a quality stay
• Actively participate in customer loyalty

• Breakfast service
• Fast food service
• Bar service
• Clearing and maintaining the cleanliness of the areas

Profile sought:

• Excellent presentation and a sharp sense of customer service
• Strong orientation towards customer satisfaction and excellence in quality of service
• French as a native language and fluent English are indispensable
• Mastery of German constitutes an additional asset
• Hotel experience required in a similar function in reception
• Good mastery of the OPERA software
• Great discretion and strict respect for confidentiality
• Excellent sense of organization, autonomy and versatility
• Establishment difficult to access by public transport: personal vehicle and driver's license indispensable
