Business Analyst 80 - 100% # Welcome to the fascinating world of taxes! Together with the municipal tax offices, the Cantonal Tax Office levies taxes for the Confederation, the Canton, and the municipalities. We support private individuals and companies throughout the entire tax collection process. For this purpose, around 800 qualified employees are engaged at the location in Zürich Altstetten. We are looking for a motivated Business Analyst starting immediately or by arrangement. In this demanding position, you will take on an important role in the Project and Portfolio Management team at the Cantonal Tax Office. The function is characterized by exciting tasks and complex challenges with various stakeholders. Your tasks ### • You will primarily focus on the strategic large-scale project for the renewal of our application landscape and methodically accompany the specialist departments during this forward-looking transformation.   • You will record the requirements for the new systems, identify weaknesses in the previous processes, and develop suggestions for improvement. • In doing so, you will closely accompany the stakeholders through the entire process of requirement gathering, ensure the business case, define acceptance criteria for the project, conduct tests, and organize user training if necessary. • Additionally, you will advise the clients regarding organizational optimization and economic efficiency within the framework of this system replacement. • Depending on the project phase, you will take over the management of work packages within this transformation program. Your profile ### • You have proven experience as a Business Analyst - ideally in the context of IT modernizations - and ideally have tax law expertise. • Additionally, you bring a higher education in Business Analysis, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification. You can critically examine and classify complex requirements from various stakeholders and use them in a targeted manner for the optimal alignment of the new IT support, processes, and structures. • Certifications in HERMES and/or IREB certifications are an advantage. • You can perfectly structure project tasks, approach them systematically, and complete them on time. • You are empathetic, have strong communication skills, and feel comfortable in your role as a central contact person for your stakeholders in the project.
