Value Stream Lead & Department Management

• Administration - Management • Executive Roles • IT - Business Analysis • IT - IT Infrastructure & Operations • Zürich • Permanent position • Full-time • Stakeholder communication, Leadership, Transformation Your main tasks • Team leadership: Disciplinary and organizational leadership of the area as well as leadership of the subordinate cross-functional team consisting of Team Lead, Project Managers, Business Analysts and Application Managers. • Result & budget responsibility: Overall responsibility for the Value Stream in terms of results, stability and governance. • Interface & stakeholder management: Continuous maintenance of strategic customer relationships and conduct of regular service reviews to assess service quality and SLA compliance. • Support of ongoing transformation: Active participation in the further development of working methods within your own area, including co-shaping future adjustments. • Steering & prioritization: Resolution of conflicts of interest between business value, project delivery and IT technology; responsible for prioritization within the Value Stream as well as the resource capacities for the fulfillment of strategic goals. • Risk management & transparency: Proactive monitoring of relevant operational key figures as well as ensuring transparency regarding risks and dependencies to the portfolio committee. Your profile • Leadership experience: Several years of demonstrable leadership experience in line, area or department responsibility with real budget and resource responsibility. • Methodological competence: Sound practical experience in working with SAFe, experience at the Agile Release Train level is an advantage. • Stakeholder competence: Proven experience in dealing with C-level stakeholders and external partners, ideally in the environment of public administration or similarly complex matrix organizations. • Decision-making & conflict strength: High negotiation competence and the ability to make clear prioritization decisions (e.g. system stability vs. project delivery) even under uncertainty. • Professional background: Strong systemic thinking with a sound understanding of modern IT architecture, IT operational processes and reorganization projects. Detailed knowledge of the specific subject domain is not mandatory, quick comprehension is required. • Languages: Business fluent German and English skills. --------------------
