The soho basel stands for a unique gastronomic experience in Basel-Stadt, repeatedly awarded and honored, and one of the best-known bars in Switzerland. This is due to a diverse range of offerings, from classic cocktails to selected wine and whiskey varieties, as well as delicious finger food ideas. The unique location in the car-free pedestrian zone guarantees a great view of the lively city center. The premises have a total area of approximately 550 m2, spread over three floors with a classic bar in an industrial look, a gallery & lounge, a club, and a large terrace. To strengthen our young, ambitious team, we are looking for you as a barkeeper (m/f/d) Areas of responsibility • Preparation and creative presentation of classic and modern cocktails Professional advice and care of our guests • Ensuring a smooth service process at the bar • Preparation and mise en place for daily operations • Responsibility for order, cleanliness, and hygiene according to HACCP guidelines • Control and maintenance of inventory, as well as assistance with ordering • Proper storage and processing of beverages and ingredients • Operation of the cash system and correct billing Requirements profile • Professional experience as a barkeeper, bartender, or in a comparable position in upscale gastronomy or the bar scene • Good knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktail recipes • Experience in handling spirits, wines, and other beverages • Knowledge of hygiene and safety regulations • Good German and English language skills • Distinctive host personality and high service orientation • Friendly, well-groomed, and professional appearance • Ability to withstand stress and remain calm in hectic situations • Teamwork and reliability • Independent, structured, and careful work • Passion for cocktails, beverages, and gastronomy • Flexibility regarding evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
