The thermal leisure complex of Bains de Saillon, in the heart of the Valais vineyards, brings together several activities: a thermal area consisting of baths, a mayens wellness village with saunas and a Turkish bath, a thermal river, a Spa Cinq Mondes area, a fitness center, and a hotel area with a capacity of 145 rooms as well as themed restaurants.

We are looking for an executive chef for a temporary mission, in order to ensure the continuity of the management of our kitchen team. The duration of the mission will be defined according to the needs of the establishment.

Your profile:

• Holder of a Federal Diploma of Chef cuisinier(ère)
• Proven practical experience as an Executive Chef of at least 4 years
• Excellent experience in kitchen management
• Ability to delegate multiple tasks
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Professional knowledge of different software (MS Office, Mirus)
• Team spirit
• Creative and passionate about gastronomy

Your mission:

• Lead and supervise the entire kitchen department
• Plan and direct the preparation of dishes and culinary activities (400 to 600 meals / day)
• Design and develop innovative menus
• Responsible for the management of the kitchen team (20 employees)
• Plan the purchase of food items and regular contact with suppliers
• Estimate food costs and personnel needs
• Ensure quality and comply with hygiene and safety regulations
• Recruitment of kitchen staff
• Master the budget, schedules, and control staff hours
• Motivate your team, set objectives for employees, and measure them
• Contribute to fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
