The contribution you can make

• Electronically register and administer files in the management system
• Compile and prepare dossiers for the Head of Department and for the director or deputy director of the Federal Office
• Organize meetings and perform general secretarial tasks
• Prepare presentations and summaries as well as further documents for the heads of the sector and the management level
• Provide support to employees for administrative and IT issues and take on substitute duties

What distinguishes you

• Commercial diploma or equivalent
• Experience in an assistant or secretary function, ideally in a legal or public environment
• Good knowledge of the MS-Office package and familiarity with digital work tools
• Interest in working independently and for organizational tasks
• Strong service orientation, reliability and pleasure in working in a team
• Good active knowledge of a second official language

The Federal Office of Justice is the Confederation's competence center in matters of law. It elaborates legislative projects in the sectors of public, administrative, private and criminal law and examines all legislative activities of the Federal Administration with a view to their constitutionality and legal compliance.

The legislation sector I (RS I) is primarily responsible for accompanying the legislative acts under the competence of DFAE, DFI and DDPS, as well as in certain sectors of the DFGP.
