A Director of Sector at 80%-100% General Description As part of the evolution of our organization following the entry into force of the cantonal directive relating to holders of authorization to operate a preschool reception structure, we are looking for a Director of Sector (CDI 80%-100%) responsible for piloting a early childhood sector, composed of 5 preschool reception structures, and subsidized by the City of Genève. Working conditions are those provided by the CCT of the staff of the early childhood reception structures of the City of Genève. Your mission and responsibilities Directly attached to the Employers' Committee, you ensure the institutional consistency of the sector, the respect of contractual commitments, as well as the proper functioning of the structures and mutualized services. You ensure the link with the Early Childhood Service and in particular with its finance, technical, computer, HR and salary units. You ensure the strategic, organizational and operational management of the sector. As such, you accompany and supervise the site managers (crèches or kindergartens), coordinate teams and mutualized resources, ensure the implementation of the institutional project and guarantee the respect of the objectives set by the governance and the subsidy authority. You supervise administrative, financial and HR activities, lead development projects and ensure reporting to the City of Genève. You accompany the governance bodies in their decision-making and ensure the implementation of strategic orientations within the legal and contractual framework. Application conditions You hold a higher education degree in a relevant field (management, public administration, human resources, management or equivalent) and have confirmed experience in organization management as well as team management. You have solid skills in management, organization, financial management and human resources. Endowed with excellent relational skills, you demonstrate leadership, analytical spirit, decision-making ability and good resistance to stress. You have experience in a public interest institution or in the socio-educational field.
