Our Product division at Ringier Medien Schweiz is responsible for the digital presence of a broad and renowned product portfolio, which includes well-known titles such as Blick, Beobachter or Handelszeitung. We drive the digital transformation of our media brands and ensure that our offerings are always at the pulse of the times. To strengthen our team in Zürich, we are looking for a Product Manager:in Digital Beobachter – immediately or by arrangement – to actively shape the digital future of our offerings with us.

Your Tasks

• Product Strategy & End-to-End Responsibility: You are responsible for the digital Beobachter products throughout the entire lifecycle, from strategy to the finished app.
• Discovery & Conception: You identify real user needs and develop effective product concepts together with Business, UX, Engineering and Data.
• Prioritization & Delivery: You prioritize topics based on business impact as well as user added value and reliably accompany the teams from backlog to launch.
• Collaboration & Coordination: You manage the collaboration between Editorial, Engineering, Data and Growth and always create clear priorities.
• Data Analysis & Optimization: You continuously define and analyze KPIs and derive targeted optimizations from them.
• Stakeholder Communication: You communicate transparently with Brand Business Owners, Editor-in-Chief and Growth regarding priorities and progress and represent product decisions convincingly.

Your Profile

• Professional Experience: You bring at least 2 years of experience in digital product management, preferably in a media, subscription or service environment.
• End-to-End Responsibility: You live end-to-end product management and take responsibility from the first idea to final implementation.
• Implementation Strength: You combine strategic acuity with high implementation strength and reliably bring your projects to their goal.
• Data & User Focus: You make product decisions oriented towards data and users while always keeping economic goals in view.
• Agile Mindset & Tech Understanding: You master agile working methods confidently and, thanks to your good technical understanding, communicate at eye level with Engineering teams.
• Language Skills: You express yourself fluently in German and have good English skills.

Recruiting Process

• Does your profile fit? Then it can move quickly, as our goal is to reach a contract conclusion within a short time.
• After reviewing your documents, there will be a telephone call for initial clarifications and appointment scheduling.
• This is followed by a video call with Roland Sailer, our Head of Product, and Manuela Wyss, our Recruiting Partner (duration approx. 45 to 60 minutes).
• In the next step, you will meet the team on-site.
