At the Clinique de Crans-Montana, the kitchen team prepares approximately 180 meals every day intended for patients as well as the institution's staff. It also offers a small catering service at the cafeteria. Its mission is to guarantee a balanced, varied and tasty diet, meeting Swiss nutritional recommendations and developed in compliance with hygiene and food safety standards. Labeled "Cuisinons notre région" and "Fourchette verte", the service prioritizes fresh and local products in order to enhance the flavors of the local terroir.

As an apprentice cook, you will participate in the preparation and realization of dishes intended for a varied clientele, while taking into account the specific dietary requirements related to the hospital environment.

The diversity of services and the requirements specific to our care environment allow you to benefit from a rich and complete training. You will discover all the positions in the kitchen and progressively develop your technical and organizational skills.

During your training, you will learn food preparation and cooking techniques, hygiene and food safety rules, as well as the basics of the organization and management of a professional kitchen, in accordance with the objectives of your curriculum.

You have successfully completed your compulsory schooling.

You enjoy teamwork and maintain good relations with others.
