Required Knowledge and Qualifications

• University degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, construction management, business administration or a related field
• Comprehensive experience in leading large and complex construction/infrastructure projects or in a comparable position
• Strong project management competence: planning, milestone and schedule control, progress assessment and initiation of corrective measures
• Fluent English, German and Turkish skills
• Knowledge of contract administration as well as the ability to work within defined project plans, standards and procedures
• Leadership and supervision of the subcontractor administration department
• Leadership and supervision of the procurement management department
• Knowledge of financial management: budgeting, cost control, cash flow management and ensuring economical use of resources
• Practical knowledge of management systems for occupational safety and health protection as well as a preventive safety culture
• Experience and good knowledge of the company's own ENKA budgeting system EGFS
• Experience and good knowledge of the company's own ENKA procurement system EGPS
• Experience and good knowledge of the ENKA document management system EDMS
• Experience and good knowledge of the ENKA human resource management system EGHR
• Familiarity with international standards for quality assurance and inspections
• Leadership, team building and mentoring skills, including performance-based appraisal and incentive systems
• Management of customer and stakeholder relationships
• Strong communication skills between different business areas

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Achievement of project goals and timely delivery of qualitatively flawless, completed works in compliance with the established milestones
• Ensuring economical use of resources and achievement of the goals specified by the company management
• Building and maintaining a qualified, balanced, well-structured and motivated project team with the required staffing level to fulfill project obligations
• Promoting teamwork and cross-departmental communication to create synergies within the organization
• Conducting the project in strict compliance with the project plans, standards and procedures established by the company
• Ensuring safe working conditions at all times with the goal of zero occupational accidents for all project employees and workers
• Ensuring that all products and services are provided in accordance with international quality assurance and inspection standards
• Correct and timely reporting to the management, without unexpected developments
• Promoting business development through the implementation of company policies in all relevant business areas
• Promoting and supporting employees with regard to further training and personal development as well as ensuring that compensation and incentive programs are based on performance criteria and systematic evaluation methods
• Establishing standards (mission and vision) as well as a work culture that aligns employees with the achievement of company goals
• Continuous assessment of the overall project progress and initiation of necessary corrective measures to ensure the desired results
• Continuous ensuring of adequate staffing on site until the completion of the project
