At the Swiss Ice Hockey Federation (SIHF), you will take responsibility for the people behind Swiss ice hockey. In this role, you will combine reliable HR day-to-day business with the further development of the HR department. Leadership, culture, and modern processes are just as central as the personal advice provided to our employees.

These are your tasks

• Design and control of personnel work along the entire employee cycle – from recruitment to exit.
• Overall responsibility for payroll accounting in Abacus, including your own involvement in payroll processing, as well as ensuring correct and timely settlements.
• Ensuring sound training for apprentices, as well as supporting their professional and personal development as a vocational trainer.
• Budget and forecast responsibility for the HR department, including monitoring and compliance with budget specifications.
• Advice and support for managers and employees in all HR matters.
• Further development of the organizational and leadership culture together with the management.
• Optimization and digitalization of HR processes, targeted use of the possibilities of Abacus, as well as further development of HR instruments and regulations.

What you bring with you

• A federal diploma as an HR specialist or an equivalent qualification, as well as several years of experience in a broad HR function, ideally with leadership responsibility.
• Sound Abacus knowledge and practical experience in independent payroll processing with Abacus are mandatory. Further training in the area of payroll is an advantage.
• Secure knowledge of Swiss labor law, social security systems, and withholding tax.
• A completed vocational trainer course as well as proven experience in the support and promotion of apprentices.
• Experience in the optimization of HR processes and the implementation of changes.
• You think entrepreneurially, have a good sense for people, and communicate clearly. You act reliably and discretely, carefully weigh different interests, and find sustainable solutions. You also keep an overview in everyday operations.
• Very good German skills and good English skills; French skills are an advantage.
