IT Coordinator and Technical Lead (m/f) 80-100%, Bern-Zürich

With over 600 employees, Centre Patronal is a service company in the service of companies and the private sector. It offers services in particular in the areas of social insurance, occupational pension schemes, legal and economic consulting, as well as education and further training.

As part of our expansion in German-speaking Switzerland, we are strengthening our IT presence at the Bern and Zürich locations. As part of our IT Operations team based in Paudex, you will be the central contact person for around 100 employees. Through your regular presence at both locations, you will support them in their daily work and independently ensure practical IT support on-site, as IT-Coordinator & Technical Lead (m/f)

Your tasks

• First contact person for IT concerns of employees at the Bern and Zürich locations; ensuring technical support as well as coordination of requests that require the deployment of the IT team at the headquarters in Paudex
• Responsibility for the administration and smooth operation of the IT infrastructure, the network components, and the WLAN connections
• Administration of external domains and occasional support for customers on IT topics
• Technical support in the implementation of webinars as well as in the use of the recording studio
• Accompanying new employees during their IT onboarding, from the provision of work equipment to awareness in the field of cybersecurity
• Maintenance and updating of the technical documentation as well as creation of user manuals in German
• Participation in hardware and software rollouts as well as in the planned maintenance of the IT infrastructure
• Contact person for the specialist departments in relation to their applications; recording and analysis of further development needs, supporting users in the use of the applications, and ensuring coordination with the teams in Paudex for optimal processing

Your profile

• Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ, completion of a Higher Vocational School (HF), Bachelor FH in computer science or equivalent training
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the IT field or in a comparable function, with proven ability to work independently and responsibly on-site, ideally in a multilingual environment
• Experience in a broadly based IT environment (SME, decentralized location or independent branch) as well as participation in IT migration, merger, or integration projects are an advantage
• Excellent German skills (C1-C2) as well as very good knowledge of English or French (B2-C1). French skills are an additional advantage
• Sound knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Intune as well as network infrastructures
• Strong awareness of cybersecurity issues; experience in the field of webinars or in a recording studio is an advantage
• Structured, independent and flexible personality.
