BAK Economics is an independent Swiss economic research and consulting institute. To lead our Central Unit, we are looking for a committed and organized personality, capable of taking on a versatile and responsible function. As the nerve center of the company, the Central Unit supports our various specialized departments and is responsible for internal processes - particularly in the areas of HR and administration. In this role, you will take charge of a wide range of tasks, work autonomously, and actively contribute to the development of our internal processes.

Your role with us

• As the organizational heart, you lead the Central Unit and coordinate all central processes and procedures - this is where everything converges.
• You actively contribute to our HR processes throughout the employee life cycle - from the first application to the last day of work.
• You harmonize internal processes and interfaces to ensure smooth and consistent operation.
• You are a reliable partner for the finance department and provide active support in all areas.
• You challenge the status quo, optimize existing processes, and autonomously develop new procedures.
• You involve yourself in legal matters and maintain a sovereign overview of administrative procedures.
• You autonomously manage shareholdings and support the board of directors as a competent interlocutor on various issues.
• As final support, you are the organizational pillar of our projects and ensure that everything is administratively in its place.

Your profile

• Basic commercial training with additional training in HR and/or payroll (e.g., HR specialist, personnel and social insurance employee).
• Experience in an autonomous and coordinating function; initial leadership experience is an advantage.
• Experience in HR and payroll, ideally including payroll accounting.
• Knowledge of Swiss labor and social security law as well as corporate law (an asset).
• Proficiency in Bexio and MS Office.
• Precise, autonomous, and discreet way of working as well as a strong understanding of processes.
• Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English; French is an asset.
