Specialist for technical professions, training workshops and physical education at vocational schools

Start of position: 01.01.2027 Work location: Bern As of 1 January 2027, we are looking for an experienced specialist for our "Schulische Berufsbildung und Weiterbildung" department in the Mittelschul- und Berufsbildungsamt of the Bildungs- und Kulturdirektion. Your tasks Advisory and supervision: • You support the training of occupational groups, particularly in manual, technical and ICT professions, and ensure compliance with legal foundations and regulations at the vocational schools. • In close cooperation with the responsible specialist departments, you clarify pedagogical and legal issues and support the vocational schools in the implementation of educational regulations and curricula. • You provide information and advise school management, providers, parents, vocational trainers and other bodies. • Additionally, you assist in answering parliamentary motions and in consultations. Core tasks: • You advise the vocational schools on matters concerning school space and coordinate with the responsible specialist departments. • You are responsible for supervising the correct implementation of physical education according to the applicable foundations, as well as clarifying questions regarding physical education and the implementation of the federal framework curriculum for sports. • You offer professional advice in the areas of training workshops and intercantonal specialist courses. Project collaboration: • You actively participate in the FUTUREMEM project and take over deputy duties within the project if required. <br /> Your profile <br /> • completed vocational apprenticeship with further education at university level (FH or Uni), e.g., in pedagogy, law, business administration or a technical or ICT-related field. • Several years of professional experience in vocational training at a vocational school or in a comparable function in educational administration is ideal. • Experience in collaborating with authorities, schools and other stakeholders. • Familiarity with educational regulations and curricula or the willingness to learn them quickly. • Knowledge in the area of school space and infrastructure planning and physical education at vocational schools is an advantage. • Strong advisory and communication skills towards various stakeholders. • Networked, solution-oriented thinking and acting. • Independent, structured and reliable way of working. • Willingness to take on responsibility and project work. • Proficient German (C2) and French (B2) in spoken and written form. <br /> We offer you as a self-reflective personality and team player in an engaged team the opportunity to take on topic leadership and to develop professionally.
