Data Scientist (M/F)

Introduction ## Within the Production division, you put data science at the service of industrial performance, process control, and quality. You will work on projects with high operational impact, in direct connection with field teams, particularly on issues regarding processes and control, including the use of vision. Present at three production sites, the role requires both a solid capacity for analysis and technical implementation, but also a true aptitude for understanding business challenges, creating buy-in around projects, and making sometimes complex subjects accessible. *Responsibilities* ## Role and responsibilities: • Collect and analyze business needs to transform them into data science or machine learning use cases. • Design models to address challenges such as anomaly detection, diagnostic support, and quality control improvement. • Ensure industrialization, performance monitoring, and maintenance of solutions in production. • Present analyses clearly and formulate recommendations useful for decision-making. • Contribute to the dissemination of best practices, innovation, and the development of data culture within the organization. Technical skills: • Excellent mastery of Python and its associated ecosystem: PyTorch, NumPy, Pandas, Polars, scikit-learn, MLflow, Seaborn, etc. • Ability to build rigorous analytical approaches, within a scientific and problem-solving oriented approach. • Good understanding of model industrialization challenges: code quality, testing, versioning, documentation, maintenance. • Mastery of software development best practices: Code quality, Testing, version management with GIT, collaborative work. • Knowledge of Dataiku is an asset. *Profile* ## • Graduate with a Master / MSc in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or an equivalent field. • Proven experience in data science or machine learning, ideally in an industrial or production environment. • You know how to make complex technical subjects accessible. • You demonstrate listening skills, curiosity, rigor, and autonomy. • You are proactive, solution-oriented, and like to advance topics in a concrete manner.
