What you can achieve

• You lead the engineering division operationally and ensure the achievement of the agreed division goals.
• You are responsible for the development of products – especially software – and services in close cooperation with the relevant specialist departments.
• You support the acquisition of new business opportunities with technical solutions and sound cost calculations.
• You ensure compliance with deadlines, budgets, and quality standards in service delivery.
• You plan and control the required personnel and technical resources.
• You guarantee the quality and safety standards of your division and ensure compliance with internal and external specifications.
• You promote Business Excellence, continuous improvement (KVP/CIP), and the further development of the operating system.

What you bring with you

• Leadership experience: Experience in leading a division as well as in the operational leadership and implementation of division goals.
• Technology and industry knowledge: Understanding of sensor technology and reconnaissance systems; radar systems are a plus. Knowledge of the Swiss defense and security environment is an advantage.
• Financial competence: Experience in cost center responsibility and financial management.
• Communication strength: Strong communication and negotiation skills in dealing with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Language skills: Very good German and English skills; French is a plus.
• Education: Completed degree in engineering, information and communication technology, or a comparable qualification.

About the division

The engineering division in the Business Segment Sensors & Electronic Warfare is responsible for the technical further development and innovation of our solutions. In close cooperation with internal and external partners, customer needs are identified, research and development projects are driven forward, and the strategic goals of the business division are implemented. The focus is on technical excellence, future-oriented solutions, and the sustainable fulfillment of customer requirements.
