The Service de l'aménagement du territoire (SCAT) is looking for a Junior scientific collaborator (spatial planning) at 50% (1-year fixed-term contract) SCAT60 The land cell of the canton of Neuchâtel is a platform bringing together, in particular, all the cantonal services that manage land belonging to the State. Representing the interests of the owning State, it ensures, in particular, a coordinated and efficient management of the latter as well as the implementation of the cantonal strategy to meet cantonal land and real estate needs. Your missions As a junior scientific collaborator, you collect basic data and analyze zoning rules as well as land use measures dictated by federal, cantonal, or communal law. You produce maps from GIS data to offer decision-making aids. Furthermore, you participate in specific projects led by the coordination of the land cell, such as research, sale, acquisition of real estate, or the implementation of the cantonal land and real estate strategy. Your profile Holder of a master's degree (university or HES) in geography, spatial planning, urban planning or territorial development, you have at least one year of professional experience. Applications from second-year master's students in one of these courses are also welcome. Rigorous, precise and systematic, you demonstrate good analytical skills and critical thinking in the execution of your tasks. Your ability to work autonomously within the framework given to you is accompanied by a perfect mastery of standard IT tools (Word, Excel, Adobe Illustrator, etc.) and GIS software. The knowledge of QGIS is an asset for this position.
