Die Bergbahnen Destination Gstaad AG is one of the largest mountain railway companies in the Bernese Oberland. In addition to the railway facilities and ski slopes, it operates its own mountain houses and employs around 380 staff in winter and 180 in summer. The eventful mountain summer is just as much a focus for the company as the enjoyable and diverse ski area. Immediately - for the current summer season - we are looking for a Front Office Agent at the Rinderberg Lodge Your tasks: • H O S T • Accepting and processing reservations (also for the restaurant), pre-arrival check and optimal room distribution in consultation with housekeeping • Handling guest correspondence • Friendly reception of all guests. Rooming-in. And as required, help with luggage • Sales of outlets and concierge tasks (information and advice, organization of guest orders) • Booking of external and internal services, checking the restaurant closing and the hotel's daily closing • Checking all guest invoices. Professional check-out and attentive, friendly farewell • Recording comments – guest reviews • 1st level complaint handling • Managing and closing your own cash register • Hand over to the next shift • Close and coordinated cooperation with all departments • Maintaining order and cleanliness at the reception Your profile: • Training as a hotel management assistant or hotel specialist • Already some professional experience at a hotel reception • Quality conscious and sales talent • Natural hospitality • German at native speaker level is a must as well as fluent English • Proficiency in MS Office as well as Hotel PMS (Opera, Fidelio, Protel or others) is required • Staff accommodation in the hotel We offer: A beautiful renovated house with 24 rooms, restaurant and sun terrace.
