WE ARE LOOKING FOR CHEF DE RANG / WAITER (M/F)

Summer season 2027 | April – October

For a gastronomic establishment located in the Locarnese area, we are looking for a professional figure to join our service team for the 2027 summer season.

We are looking for a dynamic, smiling, professional, and above all autonomous person, with a strong predisposition towards hospitality and attention to the customer.

Main duties

• Welcoming and assisting guests.
• Autonomous management of one's own station.
• Service of food and beverages according to the establishment's standards.
• Presentation of the menu and advice to customers.
• Taking orders and managing requests.
• Preparation of the mise en place and tidying of the dining room.
• Collaboration with the kitchen and the rest of the team.
• Care for order, cleanliness, and service quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Chef de Rang or qualified waiter.
• Good knowledge of the German language, preferably also English.
• Excellent knowledge of Italian.
• Professionalism, punctuality, and reliability.
• Ability to work autonomously and under pressure.
• Attitude for teamwork.
• Groomed appearance and customer orientation.

We are looking for enterprising people, capable of recognizing the needs of guests, anticipating service requirements, and taking initiative without continuously waiting for instructions.
