Head of technical service #

Tasks

• Direction and targeted development of the technical service employees composed of several departments with more than 70 employees in total
• Responsibility for preventive maintenance, upkeep, troubleshooting, and technical optimization
• Planning, management, and control of maintenance and investment budgets as well as technical projects, transformations, and revisions
• Ensure compliance with occupational safety, health protection, environmental, and quality instructions as well as collaboration with internal and external partners

Requirements

• Education: Completed technical degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent, with additional training in business management and leadership
• Professional experience: Several years of experience in technical, maintenance, or an industrial environment, with management experience in a similar function
• Professional skills: Good knowledge of maintenance, upkeep, plant optimization, operational organization as well as budget management and investment steering
• Safety and systems knowledge: Knowledge of occupational safety, health protection, and food safety; good IT skills in MS Office
• Personal strengths: Competent in leadership, decisive, organized, solution-oriented, stress-resistant, persuasive, communicative, team-oriented as well as analytical, pragmatic, and service-oriented
