Who you are

We are looking for employees in customer service who enjoy supporting our customers with advice and action and offering them the best possible shopping experience. Thanks to you, our customers will not only visit IKEA with a smile, they will also leave our stores with a smile and look forward to coming back.

• You have a strong service orientation, a friendly manner, and a good sense for the wishes of the customers.
• You always have an answer to inquiries and a solution for every problem - no matter how stressful the situation may be.
• You have a flair for dealing with people and enjoy offering our customers the best possible shopping experience.
• You have very good German skills in speaking and writing and are confident in using the PC.
• You are good with numbers, can handle money well, and feel comfortable at the computer.
• You have a passion for home furnishing and the IKEA brand and look forward to getting to know the IKEA product range and service options in detail.
• You feel confident in using the English language, so that you can always be approached by international customers.
• You are flexible and willing to work regularly on Saturdays as well as in the late shift on Friday.

You are responsible for

• Advising and supporting customers and always meeting them with a friendly smile in the work areas described below:
• In the entrance area: Greeting customers to ensure they feel welcome and well-informed from the start, and directing them to the right contact person if necessary.
• In Småland: Ensuring that children aged 3 to 10 are in good hands.
• In exchanges: Finding fast, uncomplicated, and customer-oriented solutions for all challenges based on our internal guidelines.
• In goods dispatch: Checking and handing over the purchased goods to our customers and ensuring that waiting times are as short as possible.
• At the cash desk: Proving every day anew that service can be fast and friendly, and saying goodbye to customers in a way that makes them want to return: with a smile.
