"Telco" Business Analyst Workplace: hybrid remote (Bern region) Working time: 60-100% Type: Temporary, Freelance, Permanent (CDI) To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced person as a business analyst with experience in the telecommunications field as part of a client project. In this role, you will shape the future of telecom infrastructure by advancing the digitalization and automation of production systems and by contributing to the establishment of a central orchestration platform. You will optimize end-to-end processes, participate in the definition of product catalogs, interfaces, and operational obligations, and ensure high quality of data flows and reporting. Tasks • Analysis and design: analysis of existing processes, data flows, and systems along the e2e Request\#Fullfilment\#Kette chain; identification of optimizations and development of functional concepts. • Requirements collection and specification: collection, validation, and documentation of functional requirements; specification of necessary interfaces and data models. • Product catalogs & operational rules: co-design and definition of product catalog entries and obligations for the MVP and operations. • Data and error analysis: examination of data quality, reports, and interfaces; performing error analyses and coordinating corrective measures. • Reporting & automation: development and maintenance of parametric reports and automations for operational support. • Testing & quality assurance: testing of developments, verification of bug fixes, and ensuring system integrity. • Operational support & training: assistance to end users, creation of documentation, and conducting training; operational support in case of incidents. • Collaboration: cross-functional work across multiple agile teams, management via a common backlog, and in close coordination with stakeholders. Requirements must have : • Education: university degree in computer science, business informatics, electrical engineering, business administration, or equivalent. • Professional experience: at least 3 years of experience as a business analyst / requirements engineer, ideally in projects with complex IT environments. • Analytical skills: strong analytical capacity, ability for abstraction, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication skills: very good oral and written expression in German and English, another national language is an asset; ability to communicate with technical and functional stakeholders. • Team and client orientation: great ability to work in a team, proactive and autonomous approach, and strong awareness of service toward end users. • Perseverance and flexibility: resilience in the face of complex and long-term subjects as well as availability to adapt to changing requirements. • Sector experience: experience in the field of telecommunications or railway technology is an advantage. nice to have : • Experience with modern data platforms and BI tools, API management, as well as knowledge in automation/orchestration environments. • In-depth knowledge in the use of AI applications, particularly in the development and use of AI agents as well as in prompt engineering. • Methodology & certifications: experience with agile methods; certifications in business analysis (e.g., CBAP/CCBA) or project management (e.g., PMP) desirable. • Coaching: experience in mentoring or training colleagues. • Regulatory & domain knowledge: understanding of relevant standards and regulatory requirements in the telecommunications field is a plus.
