Head of Service

Creating Christmas magic together - With a lot of passion and attention to detail, an atmospheric Christmas market is being created at Alpenquai in Zug, bringing people together and inviting them to linger. To ensure this special occasion is a success, we are looking for a dedicated team that rolls up its sleeves together and helps shape it with joy. The Zuger Weihnachtsmarkt takes place this year from 19 November to 23 December. For our chalet team, we are looking for a motivated Head of Service starting from 16 November. Tasks • Lead the restaurant together with the operations management and take responsibility for the service team • Plan and coordinate the daily service including team scheduling and service briefings • Look after our guests as well as group events professionally and ensure smooth operations • Create table plans and work closely with the kitchen, bar and event team • Ensure compliance with quality and hygiene standards (HACCP) • Support with orders, administrative tasks and daily reconciliations • Take over the deputy role for the operations management if required • Lead, accompany and support the team even in hectic situations Your Profile • Training in the gastronomy sector or at least 3 years of professional experience • Initial leadership experience in gastronomy • Fluent German and English skills, French is an advantage • A host with heart, organizational talent and a hands-on mentality • Independent, reliable and solution-oriented way of working • Open communication as well as joy in leading a team • Flexible for shifts in the evenings, weekends and public holidays
