Then we are looking for you as Production Manager / Bakery Operations Manager (m/f).

Your tasks

• In this versatile role, you are the central contact person for production and ensure that people, machines, raw materials and processes work together optimally.
• Planning and organization of daily production.
• Creation and coordination of production plans.
• Leadership and deployment planning of a team of around 20–25 employees.
• Creation and coordination of duty and holiday schedules.
• Active presence and support in production.
• Monitoring of production processes and ensuring smooth operations.
• Identifying potential for improvement and further development of processes and workflows.
• Procurement and ordering of raw materials as well as monitoring availability.
• Organization and provision of the required materials for production and logistics.
• Checking and filing of delivery notes as well as other production documents.
• Implementation and monitoring of HACCP requirements.
• Support in the implementation and further development of the FSSC-22000 system.
• Support during internal and external controls as well as in the preparation of audits.
• Cooperation with the management and other departments.
• Monitoring of machines and technical systems.
• Independently implementing small technical repairs and provisional solutions when the situation requires it.
• Coordination of repairs and maintenance in the event of larger technical problems.
• Assisting in the optimization of machines, workstations and production processes.
• Ensuring order, quality, hygiene and occupational safety

Your profile

We are not looking for a pure desk-based manager, but for a practical all-rounder who likes to be in the middle of the action.

Ideally, you bring:

• Professional experience in a bakery, food production or comparable production.
• Training as a baker, pastry chef or a comparable training is an advantage.
• Experience in the leadership and organization of employees.
• Understanding and manual dexterity.
• Enjoyment in understanding machines and systems and finding a solution yourself for smaller problems.
• Experience with production planning and work organization.
• Sense of responsibility and independent way of working.
• Good organizational skills.
• Quality and hygiene awareness.
• Ideally knowledge of HACCP and FSSC 22000.
• Good communication skills and assertiveness.
• Willingness to work in production yourself if required.
• Flexibility and the ability to keep an overview even in hectic situations.
