Learn more about the UZH as an employer! ### Tasks You will participate in the HR Consulting specialist area within the Personnel Department as an HR Business Partner. In this demanding function, you are responsible for the organizational units assigned to you and advise managers of all levels on recruitment-relevant issues, particularly regarding leadership and legal questions. You are responsible for the classification of positions as well as the review and determination of salaries within the University's salary structure. You advise managers regarding leadership measures and instruments and support them in the care and development of employees. Through your participation in specialist projects as well as in the current implementation of HR digitalization, you actively help shape our professional personnel management. You also undertake the occasional mediation of HR topics within the framework of training for HR employees and managers. You work in a team of very experienced HR Business Partners. Your diverse activity takes place in close cooperation with the entire HR team as well as with the managers, the employees, and numerous other internal and external bodies. Profile For this position, we require your several years of practical experience as an HR Business Partner; ideally, you have your own leadership experience as well as experience from the public law sector. Training or further education in Human Resources Management is required, a university or university of applied sciences degree is an advantage. Your working languages are German and English. You are very service-oriented, strong in communication, and empathetic in interaction, while simultaneously possessing assertiveness. You are well-organized, work independently and efficiently, with your own high quality standards, and are prepared to also perform operational activities as an HR Business Partner.
