Project Manager 40 % Support project for young women with a refugee background | Canton Zürich impulsarbeit gmbh is developing a new support program for young women with a refugee background in Winterthur. The goal is the personal, social, and economic emancipation of the participants. The women are to expand their resources and options for action and gradually create the prerequisites to be able to shape their lives in a self-determined manner and as independently as possible from state support. For the construction and professional development of the program, we are looking for a Project Manager (40 %) starting October 1, 2026. The position is initially limited to one year. A program with time for development Substantial private funds are available for the construction and development phase. This allows the program to be developed without short-term financing, placement, or quantity pressure. Different approaches can be carefully tested, evaluated, and further developed. An external impact measurement accompanies the program and ensures that findings flow systematically into continuous quality development. The goal is a professionally sound, learning, and long-term sustainable support model. Cooperation with municipalities, the canton, specialist agencies, and existing integration structures is expressly desired. Two working days – two different experiential spaces The 40% position is basically distributed over two working days per week. Day 1: Support, work integration, and case work The participants work in a real operational environment and gain concrete work experience. The Project Manager accompanies this process professionally and individually. This specifically includes: • work-integrative support • individual support planning • case work • recognizing and activating existing resources • reflection of experiences in the company • development of professional and personal perspectives • cooperation with companies, specialist agencies, and other stakeholders • planning of suitable next development steps Day 2: Forest day and individual coaching The second day deliberately creates a different framework. Part of the day takes place together in the forest. Nature, movement, doing things together, and conversations open up different approaches to resources, relationships, and personal topics. In addition, individual coachings take place. Here, personal goals, current challenges, resources, and next steps can be addressed in depth. Both days belong together: concrete experience and work integration on one side, reflection, individual development, and stabilization on the other. Professional background We are looking for a woman with a degree in Social Work FH or a sound professional background in art-based, art-pedagogical, or art-therapeutic methods. Knowledge and practical experience with the following are an advantage: • empowerment and resource activation • solution-oriented counseling • participatory approaches • life-world orientation • capability and empowerment approaches • trauma-sensitive work • creative and art-based methods Experience in project and organizational development work is of great advantage. Experience with support and integration offers as well as in direct work with women with a refugee background is of very great advantage. We are looking for an independent, reflective, and development-oriented personality who combines professional quality with joy in organizational development work. Women-specific setting The activity involves direct work with sometimes vulnerable women with refugee experience within a protected, women-specific trust setting. The advertisement is therefore aimed at women. This requirement arises from the specific function and the protection concept of the program.
