The contribution you can make

• Direct the chancellery on a technical and organizational level and guarantee a professional reception service and reliable telephone availability at all times
• Assume responsibility for the management of affairs in the GEVER system throughout the entire life cycle and guarantee compliance with all relevant requirements, deadlines, and archiving processes
• Efficiently manage office materials via eProcurement (SRM), guarantee the updating of databases, instructions, and templates, as well as actively collaborate on cross-sectoral projects and initiatives
• As first-level support, guarantee training and advice to the employees of the Engineer/Rescue/NBC Training Formation in the areas of business management/registry (Acta Nova), eProcurement (SRM), and travelmanagement
• Plan, coordinate, prepare, and review reports and document results and decisions in a clear and structured manner; guarantee valuable documentation and consistent traceability

What distinguishes you

• Basic commercial training or equivalent qualification with relative professional experience
• Strong customer orientation and pleasure in collaborating with both internal and external target groups; spirit of initiative and an autonomous way of working
• Team spirit, resilience, determination as well as a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach
• Excellent knowledge of the main Microsoft programs in use
• Experience in business management is an advantage; military knowledge is desired
• Ability to express yourself with a confident style both orally and in writing and good active knowledge of at least a second official language

The Instruction Command (Cdo Istr) is responsible for instruction within the Swiss Army -- from recruitment to general basic instruction to officer training -- regarding the militia and professional soldiers. It includes higher officer training, Army Personnel, five training formations, the Instruction Center, and the specialized Women in the Army and diversity service. One third of the approximately 2350 employees is active in civilian professions in scientific, technical, medical, psychological, administrative, or sporting fields and contributes to success together with professional soldiers.

The Swiss Army employs over 9000 employees within the framework of four military professions and approximately 200 civilian professions, in 110 locations throughout the national territory. Furthermore, it provides for new recruits, training apprentices in over 30 professions.
