Baker\-Confectioner\-Pastry Chef The Café \& Conditorei 1842 is located on Napfgasse in the middle of Niederdorf. The name stems from the founding year, in which the baker Eberle laid the foundation for today's Café with Confectionery with a sweet shop. On four floors, our guests are pampered with homemade small cakes and pastries, delicious apple strudel, coffee and tea specialties, the popular hot drinking chocolate, a lovely breakfast and lunch offering and much more. In addition, the finest chocolate products, seasonal sweets, sweet souvenirs and small meals are offered in the heritage-protected shop. Café 1842 with Conditorei belongs to the Stiftung Arbeitskette and is an integration enterprise. Since 1994, the foundation has operated gastronomy businesses in Zürich and Schlieren. As an operational foundation with around 100 specialists, we are committed to the social and professional integration of apprentices and employees with a performance impairment and offer around 165 performance-adapted training and work positions.
