Senior workplace administrator \- Windows user environment (f/m/d) Be your best with bechtle On behalf of our banking client based in Geneva, we are looking for a Senior Workplace Administrator \- Windows user environment (f/m/d) responsible for administering and evolving the Windows user environment, as well as handling complex level 3 incidents. Your mission Administer and maintain user profiles, preferences, and customized settings in VDI environments and on physical workstations. Guarantee the accessibility, integration, and proper functioning of a large catalog of modern and legacy applications on the Workplace platform. Collaborate with the packaging and platform teams to ensure the consistency of application configurations and their proper integration into the user environment. Optimize the user experience, particularly login times, workstation performance, and application availability. Take charge of complex incidents escalated by level 2 support, conduct necessary investigations, and ensure follow-up until full resolution. Analyze recurring incidents, document solutions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Workplace environment, support processes, and service quality. Your profile Proven experience in administering a Windows Workplace environment, with a strong focus on applications, user profiles, and session performance. Good mastery of a profile and user environment management solution such as Omnissa Dynamic Environment Manager, Citrix Profile Management, FSLogix, or a comparable technology. Experience in diagnosing and resolving complex incidents affecting applications, user settings, performance, or Windows login. Good knowledge of VDI environments; experience with App Volumes or a comparable application delivery solution is an advantage. Mastery of diagnostic tools such as Procmon, Wireshark, or Fiddler, complemented by good PowerShell skills and an understanding of network concepts useful for troubleshooting. Technical curiosity, autonomy, sense of service, and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to spontaneously meet users and internal teams to understand their issues and build suitable solutions. Residency in Switzerland is mandatory for taking up the position.
