As part of the reinforcement of our Food & Beverage team, we are looking for an Assistant Maître d'Hôtel (M/F) on a permanent contract (possibility of accommodation during the trial period).

A true relay for the Outlet Manager on the ground, you will participate in the organization of services, accompany the dining room teams, and ensure compliance with the establishment's quality standards. A person of the field, you know how to unite a team while remaining attentive to our customers' experience.

Service organization & team support

• Participate in the preparation and smooth running of services.
• Control the setup of the dining room and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Organize and lead briefings before and after service to ensure good coordination of the teams.
• Coordinate the dining room teams and ensure fluid communication with the kitchen and the bar.
• Distribute tasks and accompany the Chefs de rang and Commis de salle in their development.
• Participate in the integration and training of new employees.
• Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative working environment.

Customer experience & service

• Welcome customers and ensure their satisfaction throughout their experience.
• Advise customers on dishes, drinks, and suggestions.
• Contribute to sales development through a personalized and professional approach.
• Manage special requests and possible complaints with diplomacy.
• Ensure complete service in the dining room when activity requires it.

Operational management

• Participate in the follow-up of orders, inventories, and stocks.
• Ensure the proper management of equipment and service areas.
• Ensure the follow-up of payments and perform the cash closing according to the procedures in force, in the absence of the Outlet Manager.
• Guarantee compliance with HACCP standards, internal procedures, and the establishment's standards.
• Occasionally replace the Outlet Manager in their absence within the framework of the assigned responsibilities.

Your profile

• Proven experience in a hotel establishment, gastronomic restaurant, or high-quality brasserie.
• Experience in a similar function, with initial experience in team support and supervision.
• Mastery of the Micros cash system and ease in its daily use.
• Excellent presentation and exemplary attitude.
• Natural leadership and the ability to unite a team.
• Developed sense of customer service and hospitality.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Autonomy, organization, and ability to anticipate.
• Sense of detail and constant demand for quality.
• Ability to manage unforeseen events with calm and professionalism.
• Good knowledge of dishes, drinks, wines, and service techniques.
• Commercial sense and taste for sales development.
• Flexibility, availability, and professional commitment.

Languages

• French: fluent.
