Job description – Cook EFZ for meal service / catering

Ässerei GmbH – Meal service

For our meal service, we are looking for a committed and reliable personality as a Cook EFZ. Further training or experience in the field of diet kitchen or special food is an advantage.

Your tasks

• Independent preparation and cooking of daily meals for our meal service
• Production of varied, balanced and senior-friendly menus
• Preparation of soups, salads, main courses, side dishes and desserts
• Preparation and correct implementation of diet, light and special food
• Consideration of allergies and food intolerances
• Portioning and providing the meals for delivery
• Ensuring a constantly high quality and appealing presentation
• Compliance with hygiene, HACCP and food regulations
• Control and professional storage of food
• Assistance with menu planning and goods management
• General work in the kitchen

Your profile

• Completed training as Cook EFZ or equivalent recognized training
• Further training as Diet Cook or corresponding experience is an advantage
• Experience in a production kitchen, communal catering, hospital, home or elderly care kitchen is an advantage
• Enjoyment of balanced and senior-friendly cuisine
• Good knowledge in dealing with allergies, intolerances and various types of food
• Independent, structured and efficient way of working
• High quality and hygiene awareness
• Reliability, resilience and ability to work in a team
• Good German skills
