Our client, a recognized player in connected intercoms, access control, and video surveillance for buildings in French-speaking Switzerland, is looking for a Technical Helpdesk Specialist for its remote management center based in Carouge.

Job Description
--------------------

As the technical referent for the team, you are the support point for field technicians:

• Remote assistance during troubleshooting and commissioning
• Configuration of equipment before installation: connected intercom panels, readers, video terminals, 4G routers
• Handling of technical escalations
• Monitoring of faulty lines with the operator

Desired Profile
-----------------

• At least three years of level 2 technical support on connected hardware deployed at client sites
• Operational mastery of networks: addressing, virtual local area networks, address translation, virtual private networks
• Good notions of telephony over the internet
• Perfect French; technical English to read manufacturer documentation
• Knowledge of a proprietary environment for intercoms, access control, or video surveillance is a plus
• Ideally a profile from a security integrator or installer, a regional telecom operator, or a low-voltage field technician wishing for a sedentary position
• Sedentary position, office hours from Monday to Friday, no evenings, no weekends or on-call duty. Permanent contract.
