Vocational Integration Consultant

We accompany people on their way into education and work. On behalf of RAV, Sozialhilfe and Invalidenversicherung (IV), we support persons with different prerequisites, including health restrictions, in their sustainable integration into the 1. Arbeitsmarkt.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an engaged personality as Berater*in Berufliche Integration, starting immediately or by arrangement.

Berater*in Berufliche Integration

Your main tasks

• You accompany and coach persons individually in the application process as well as in the search for training or job positions in the 1. Arbeitsmarkt.
• You create targeted application documents with them.
• You promote their PC skills and the confident use of the internet.
• You support them in the recognition process of foreign diplomas.
• You acquire positions and internship places from employers and search for viable follow-up solutions.
• You maintain the database, write progress and final reports, and are in close exchange with the case-leading offices (IV-Eingliederungsfachpersonen, RAV-Beratende, Sozialarbeitende).

Your profile

• You have experience in Job Coaching, ideally also with persons with migration experience and/or with health, especially psychological, restrictions.
• You have a qualified education or further training in coaching, for example in Job Coaching.
• You know the instruments and processes of the IV, especially in vocational integration, such as early intervention, integration measures, job placement, etc.
• You work in a resource-oriented manner and take health restrictions into account. You recognize a person's resilience realistically and adapt goals and tempo accordingly.
• You can win over and advise employers, also regarding the employment of persons with restrictions, and you accompany them during the onboarding process if necessary.
• You know the social security system (ALV, Sozialhilfe, IV) and the interfaces between the offices. You are familiar with inter-institutional cooperation and data protection.
• You have very good organizational and administrative skills and a high IT affinity.
• You are characterized by strong problem-solving skills, high social competence, empathy with clear boundaries, and resilience.
