Business Development & Advisory Lead – Data & AI

Context: As part of the growth of its Data & AI Business Line in Switzerland, Talan is looking for a high-potential profile capable of actively contributing to the development of its Data & AI consulting and transformation business. Reporting directly to the Business Line Director, you will play a central role in the development of offers, pre-sales activities, relations with decision-makers, and the structuring of business growth in French-speaking Switzerland. Your responsibilities: Business Development and Pre-sales Identify and develop opportunities within existing accounts. Detect the strategic challenges of organizations and build adapted value propositions. Lead complex pre-sales and responses to calls for tender. Contribute directly to achieving the Business Line's commercial objectives. Participate in presentations and negotiations with business and IT decision-makers. Develop and maintain a professional network in French-speaking Switzerland. Offer Development Participate in the structuring and evolution of the Data & AI offer portfolio. Identify market trends and emerging client expectations. Contribute to the creation of new value propositions around the topics: Data Strategy Modern Data Platforms Artificial Intelligence & GenAI Data Governance Data Transformation Produce high value-added content to support Talan's positioning in the market. Representation and Influence Represent Talan at conferences, events, and roundtables. Develop the visibility of the Business Line in the Swiss market. Contribute to the influence of Talan's Data & AI expertise among decision-makers. Education and Experience Higher education (Engineer, University, or Grande École). Minimum 8 years of experience in consulting, digital services, or transformation activities. Significant experience in business development and pre-sales activities. Experience with C-Level, Business Management, or IT Management decision-makers. Skills You have an excellent understanding of the challenges related to: data strategy; modern Data platforms; artificial intelligence and generative AI; organizational transformation; value creation through data. You are not necessarily a technical expert, but you understand the subjects sufficiently to: dialogue with experts; lead pre-sales; build offers; convince decision-makers. Preference for Lausanne to promote proximity with teams and mobility across the entire covered territory.
