The BÂLE HOTELS GROUP unites six hotels and two conference centers under one roof, which stand for hospitality, highest comfort, and passion for gastronomy. These include the Hotel Pullman Basel Europe, the Hotel Victoria, the Hotel Basler-tor, and the Boutique-Hotel Märthof in Basel, the Hotel Savoy in Bern, the Holiday Inn Express in Oftringen, the Coop Tagungszentrum in Muttenz, as well as the Hôtel du Léman centre de séminaire in Jongny. Together they create unique experiences for travelers, conference guests, and connoisseurs.

The Hotel Victoria welcomes guests, very centrally and conveniently located, with 107 comfortable rooms with modern equipment in a warm ambiance. In the Restaurant Bar&Bistro, one enjoys breakfast or discovers both regional specialties, classic Swiss dishes, and international cuisine in an ever-new, refined way. At the bar or in summer on the idyllic terrace, one relaxes in an informal atmosphere. A diverse range of rooms as well as the modern, flexible technical infrastructure in the hotel enable events for up to 200 people.

Tasks

• Readiness to work at various kitchen stations
• Preparing, cooking, and plating all dishes
• Independent provision of the Mise en Place
• Assistance in menu design and contribution of personal ideas
• Compliance with hygiene standards and safety regulations

Requirements

• Successfully completed training as Koch/Köchin EFZ
• Initial experience in a comparable position in gastronomy/hotellerie
• Good German and English skills. French is an advantage.
• Passion for food and its creative processing
• Enthusiasm for cooking, motivation, and commitment
• Manual dexterity, independent and quality-conscious way of working
• Flexibility, reliability, and resilience
• Calmness and overview even during peak business
• Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays
• Well-groomed appearance as well as good manners
