BFF Kompetenz Bildung Bern is the leading intercultural educational center for the topics: bridge offers, care, health, hotel management-housekeeping, childhood pedagogy, social pedagogy, facility management and continuing education. 5800 people from over 80 different nations work and learn at the school. In the vocational training department, young people and adults of the 2- and 3-year basic training in the professional fields of Care, Health and Hotel Management-Housekeeping are taught. In addition, the annual general education course for adults is conducted. The learners attend practical and competency-oriented lessons with us. Around 100 teachers accompany a total of over 2400 learners on their way to a successful vocational qualification. Become one of them! Tasks ###

You teach vocational subject nursing according to the FaGe educational and school curriculum. Your teaching is action-competency oriented and takes situation didactics into account. You are part of a committed team and actively participate in professional and school development. Working days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (starting Monday, 1 February 2027) Lessons: 21 lessons (80.77%), 2 classes in the first and 1 class in the second year of apprenticeship Function as class teacher in 2 classes

Requirements ###

As a trained vocational school teacher for vocational subjects, you have teaching experience or are willing to complete the studies. You have sound professional competencies and have experience in the health sector (nursing, acute, Spitex, psychiatry, rehab). You are characterized by high initiative, can deal with different learning prerequisites and enjoy working with learners. Internal differentiation, language-sensitive didactics, individual learning support and skilled handling of blended learning are strengths of your teaching. You deal professionally with behavioral abnormalities in adolescence and generational conflicts. You bring the willingness for proactive, interdisciplinary cooperation in the specialist group, the FaGe colleagues and the entire department. For a high proportion of the working time, you are on-site in exchange with your team colleagues.
