lotse has been successfully accompanying adolescents and young adults into professional life for years. Why? Because the motivation semester combines education, work, and coaching in such a way that new doors open for the young people. Because the culture at lotse is equally open, caring, and generous, and at the same time, young people are accompanied competently with professionalism. And because the team works hand in hand, is practiced in dealing with crises, and is interested in adapting the offering in a contemporary manner if necessary.

Now the retirement of the long-standing Managing Director is approaching. For summer 2027, we are therefore looking for a person with leadership experience, a suitable compass of values, and a good portion of humor as

Managing Director (80 - 100%)

You are responsible for the entire operational and personnel management, networking and public relations, as well as the finances. You are also part of the teaching and coaching team (10 people incl. KV apprentice and two social workers in training). In addition, you participate in the foundation board meetings, introduce concepts and motions there, and ensure the exchange of information between the operation and the strategic body.

We imagine a communicative personality who meets challenges creatively, plans and implements pragmatic solutions. In addition, a sensorium for the needs of participants and team members is needed, as well as for developments in the labor market. Just as important is the trust-building maintenance of a good connection to providers of internships and apprenticeships, as well as to the administration, without which our commitment to young people would not be possible at all. Training in Social Work is an advantage; in any case, you should bring joy and experience in accompanying young people in development processes. Experience in business management processes is essential.
