Head of IT Switzerland (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Establishment and further development of the newly created Head of IT Switzerland function as well as overall responsibility for the Swiss IT organization
• Functional and personnel leadership as well as further development of the local IT team
• Development and implementation of the IT strategy in cooperation with the management and international IT managers
• Ensuring stable, secure, and economical IT operations at all Swiss locations
• Planning and implementation of IT, infrastructure, digitalization, and transformation projects
• Responsibility for IT infrastructure, networks, servers, workstation systems as well as Microsoft and cloud environments
• Management of external IT service providers and cooperation with international IT specialist teams
• Responsibility for IT security, data protection, business continuity as well as compliance and ISO-27001 requirements
• Budget planning and cost control for the IT department
• Optimization of IT processes, service management, and support services
• Advising the management on technological issues and the introduction of new technologies

Your profile:

• Completed training or studies in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in a leading IT function with leadership responsibility
• Sound knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, Microsoft technologies, virtualization, and cloud solutions
• Experience in leading IT projects and digitalization initiatives
• Good knowledge of IT security and IT governance; ITIL and ISO 27001 are an advantage
• Entrepreneurial, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Very good German skills as well as good English skills; Italian is an advantage
• Willingness to travel within Switzerland
• Driver's license category B
