Job Description Summary #

Leads initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency of the engineering function and the interfaces with other functions in order to ensure effective coordination of measures, dashboards, functional processes and coordination of cross-functional initiatives. Influences the quality of their own work and the work of colleagues in their team. Executes standard operational/technical tasks generally subject to instructions and professional routines. A certain latitude is granted to reorganize the order of tasks according to the evolution of professional situations.

Roles and responsibilities

• Responsible for the development and management of engineering/technology projects. Serves as an interface with internal/external customers to ensure that the allocation of company resources is successful. Responsible for delivering the scope of work to the initial cost estimate. Manages the planning, budget and integration of NPI and/or requisition projects, notably by influencing projects so that they meet customer CTQs and reach important milestones. The project is often a component of a program.
• Expand knowledge of their own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy. May include support roles in specialized technical knowledge areas. Pursue their acquisition of high-level knowledge and skills.
• Basic understanding of key operational factors; uses this understanding to accomplish their own work. Good understanding of how their own team's work fits into other teams and contributes to its field.
• May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves problems in situations that require good technical knowledge and good judgment according to established procedures. Consults the most experienced members of the team for issues outside of instructions and/or defined parameters.
• A position of this level requires good interpersonal relations and may be necessary to lead a junior team. For customer-facing roles, develops strong relationships with the customer and serves as an interface between the customer and GE Vernova. Explains technical information to colleagues.

Basic Qualifications

• - For roles outside the United States - This role requires basic experience of the function and the digital audio workstation. Knowledge equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited university (or a high school diploma with experience in a relevant field). - For roles in the United States - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (or high school diploma and/or GED with at least 2 years of experience in the function).
