Your tasks

• Your area of responsibility is in the railway power installations (rectifiers, medium voltage installations, overhead lines)
• Responsibility for the annual and multi-year planning of maintenance and repair measures
• Coordination of monitoring, maintenance, and repair work
• Participation in budget planning for maintenance and repair measures
• Technical and personnel leadership of the employees of the railway power team
• Support in deployment and absence planning as well as in conducting employee appraisals
• Support in ensuring and further developing occupational safety according to EKAS guidelines
• Planning, execution, and documentation of inspections, functional checks, and control measurements
• Planning and implementation of preventive maintenance measures to ensure trouble-free railway operations
• Organization and supervision of external service providers and third-party companies
• Ensuring high availability of the technical installations and systems
• Procurement and management of maintenance materials and spare parts
• Participation in renewal and investment projects in the area of electrical installations infrastructure
• Planning, implementation, and documentation of smaller projects
• Assumption of on-call services as well as deployments outside of regular working hours

Your profile

• Completed vocational training EFZ in the field of electrical engineering, for example as an electrical installer, automation technician, electrical fitter, electromechanic, or network electrician
• Completed further training as a project manager, team leader, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the field of rectifier installations, medium voltage installations, overhead line construction, and the maintenance of railway power installations
• Experience in project management
• At least 5 years of leadership experience
• Further training in the field of occupational safety (SiBe) is an advantage
• Vocational trainer training is an advantage
• Driver's license category B/BE,
• Driver's license category C (truck) or the willingness to complete the training
• Willingness for continuous professional and operational further training
• High level of commitment, especially also outside of regular working hours
• Pronounced sense of responsibility and safety
• Independent, reliable, and structured way of working
• Teamwork skills, assertiveness, and high social competence
• Resilient, balanced, and solution-oriented leadership personality
