In the Events and Partner Organisations section, we accompany our customers from the permit to the conception and through to the implementation of an event at ETH and ensure the professional accommodation of guests in the Villa Hatt and the own lecturer apartments. For our team in the area of Hospitality and Partner Organisations, we are looking for a committed personality as Manager of Guest Lecturer Apartments, who will help shape the management of our guest lecturer apartments, starting 1 October 2026, or by arrangement. The position is initially limited to 12 months, with the option for extension. The apartments serve to accommodate national and international teaching and research guests and make an important contribution to the attractiveness of our location as well as to academic exchange. Job Description ## In this versatile function, you will take on a central role and are responsible for the organizational and administrative management of the guest lecturer apartments and accompany the entire process - from the creation of rental agreements to the handover of apartments to the return and invoicing. In doing so, you coordinate external service providers, for example for cleaning, maintenance, and repair work, and ensure that the quality and functionality of the apartments are guaranteed at all times. With your service- and solution-oriented way of working, you contribute to ensuring that our guests feel well cared for in every respect and experience their stay in a pleasant atmosphere. You are in regular exchange with the institutes as well as with the tenants and ensure a smooth and transparent flow of information. In addition, you undertake administrative tasks, particularly in contract and key management. At the same time, you actively contribute your ideas and help shape the further development and optimization of processes and workflows. Furthermore, an exciting insight into the Villa Hatt awaits you: As part of seminars, events, or in the breakfast service, you support the team occasionally and, with your commitment, contribute to a professional process as well as to a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. These assignments provide additional variety in your daily work. Profile ## You bring experience from hospitality and convince through your structured, service-oriented, and flexible way of working: • Completed training at a hotel management school or a comparable qualification • Several years of professional experience in the hotel or gastronomy industry, ideally supplemented by experience in housekeeping • Experience in breakfast service or in comparable service areas as well as the willingness to actively take over this area of deployment • Strong organizational talent as well as an independent, reliable, and careful way of working • Joy in dealing with international guests and a high degree of service and customer orientation • Flexibility and willingness to engage in different areas of deployment - from administrative activities to operational service • Very good German skills as well as good English skills in speaking and writing • Confident handling of common MS Office applications • Openness towards digital tools as well as interest in actively developing processes further • Driving license category B A varied and responsible activity in an international academic environment awaits you.
