Who are we?

The Justitia project works on the digitalization of Swiss justice. The project team currently consists of about fifty people, supported by external collaborators and partner companies. We are developing two software solutions for judicial authorities (the platform for electronic communication in the judicial field and case consultation, as well as the judicial dossier application (ADJ) for the processing and management of digital dossiers) and accompanying judicial authorities in their digital transition. The project team has grown significantly in recent months and will continue to evolve. In the coming months, the project will be transferred to an operating organization, a public law corporation.

For the operation of the ADJ on the common PaaS platform and for the continuous development of the application, we are looking for an experienced Application Manager.

Here are your tasks:

• Operation of the ADJ: you are responsible for the stability of the ADJ application operation, including SLA monitoring, monitoring, logging, and reporting.
• Interlocutor and capacity management: you steer the collaboration with our PaaS provider, lead regular meetings, control the agreed services, ensure defect tracking, and manage escalations. You are notably responsible for capacity management with the provider and ensure that the ADJ application has the necessary capacities.
• Controlling: you support and coordinate contractual and controlling tasks related to operation, in close collaboration with the Finance domain.
• Release management and deployment: you are responsible for the definition, formalization, and technical implementation of the agile release process (notably deployment, rollback, and change coordination) and ensure the operational readiness of releases. You coordinate the validation of releases (Go/No-Go) with Product Management, which defines their content and schedule. You also contribute to backlog management and sprint planning from an operational and technical perspective.
• Operational processes: you are responsible for the design and optimization of operational processes, such as Incident and Problem Management as well as Change and Release Management (technical component).
• Testing: in collaboration with Test Management, you ensure, through the implementation of a detailed test concept, that errors can be detected and corrected as early as possible. You play a particularly decisive role in steering automated tests.
• Security and ISDS: you contribute to compliance with security and data protection requirements (notably LPD/RGPD, SCSE), participate in audits as well as in the development and improvement of emergency concepts.

What you bring:

• Education: you have completed training in computer science (e.g., ES, HES or CFC as an IT specialist with corresponding continuing education in one or more of the mentioned fields of activity).
• Experience: you can demonstrate several years of practical experience in the operation of complex IT applications, ideally "cloud native" with Kubernetes / Docker, as well as with ArgoCD, Helm, and GitLab.
• Methodology: you have experience with agile methods (e.g., Scrum) as well as with project approaches based on HERMES, which you apply in a pragmatic and goal-oriented manner.
• Solution orientation: you possess a strong sense of solutions and a great capacity for implementation in a dynamic environment.
