You ensure a high-quality central advisory and support service and continuously develop it in the context of current professional and social requirements. In the area of child protection, you assume shared responsibility and support specialists in challenging situations safely and professionally. Your tasks ### • Operational management of the School Social Work department in technical, personnel, financial, and organizational respects • Ensuring and further developing a high-quality and contemporary advisory service at the public school with the available resources • Shaping the service mandate of the department • Specifications for work organization and the use of work instruments • Management and coordination of the deployment of school social workers (resource distribution) • Performance of controlling and quality management at the department level • Participation in the Department Head Conference of School Support • Networking of the department with specialist agencies for child and youth welfare Your profile ### • University or University of Applied Sciences degree in Social Work • Several years of professional and leadership experience as well as in-depth practical knowledge in the field of school social work • Additional training in systemic-solution-oriented working methods • Specialist knowledge in the areas of child and youth welfare, child well-being and child protection, educational and family issues • Ability to understand complex systems and moderate processes in a goal-oriented manner • Experience in participating in and implementing projects (project management) • Pronounced social and communication competence as well as negotiation security in exchange with school management • Strong, integral as well as flexible and resilient personality We offer ### • a very diverse, meaningful, and wide-ranging task in the environment of children and adolescents with their families and their school • a responsible leadership function with scope for design in a socially relevant field of work • support from a professional, motivated team • contemporary employment conditions according to cantonal and municipal specifications
