Skilled Tradesperson: Sewer Group (80 – 100 %)

What you will achieve with us

• Ensuring the operational and functional capability of the wastewater systems of the Gemeinde Köniz
• Independent execution of maintenance work on rainwater basins, pumping stations, technical installations of special structures, as well as dam and screen installations
• Independent execution of concrete renovation work on sewers, shaft structures, rainwater basins, and other special structures
• Control and maintenance of green spaces at water discharge points and retention basins
• Monthly control and maintenance of the special structures and their technical installations
• Assistance with sewer cleaning and sewer inspection
• Monitoring the control of the municipal special structures with the process control system
• Supporting the project managers with construction projects, acceptances, and inspections

How you will inspire us

• Completion of a skilled manual apprenticeship (Mason, Plumber, Electrician) or comparable training
• Ideally several years of professional experience and the willingness to dive into a new field of expertise
• Interest in the topic of urban drainage and the preservation of clean waters
• Confident handling of electrical systems as well as common IT tools
• Team player, reliable, and joy in manual work
