For our kitchen team in Biel, we are looking for an immediate Cook EFZ 40% (Tue. & Thu.) In our daycare centers and day structures, we offer children from three months up to school age an environment in which they can spend the day with competent care and develop through plenty of movement, healthy food, and discovery trips in the forest and nature. In doing so, we orient ourselves towards modern pedagogical concepts: With open daycare work, we support children on their way to independence by letting them actively participate and shape their daily lives. Your future area of work: • Operational responsibility for the kitchen location Biel • Preparation of currently approx. 300 fresh meals per production day • Contact person for daycares as well as production management in St. Gallen • Compliance with HACCP guidelines • Ordering, inventory management, as well as optimization of internal processes What we expect from you: • Completed training as Koch/Köchin EFZ • Professional experience in a production kitchen, communal catering, or in a daycare kitchen • Good knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP guidelines • Good German skills are a prerequisite, French is an advantage • Good IT user skills and enjoyment of working with digital systems • Experience with Fourchette verte is an advantage • Clean and well-groomed appearance • Independent, reliable, and flexible way of working What you will appreciate about us: • As a daycare provider, we offer an interesting and varied working environment in a committed and interdisciplinary team • Clear structures and support from the central production kitchen in St. Gallen • Regulated working hours without evening and weekend work • The opportunity to contribute your knowledge and professional competencies • High degree of personal responsibility and independence Important note: The place of work is in a communal kitchen in the old town of Biel We look forward to receiving your complete application dossier exclusively electronically via our applicant tool (fiorino.ch/jobs).
