WHAT YOU CAN MOVE

Do you want to acquire new customers, develop business opportunities, and at the same time stay technically close to innovative Embedded and IoT solutions? Then you are in the right place in our Competence Center IoT & Embedded.

In this role, you will primarily drive business development forward. You identify customer needs and market opportunities, develop suitable solution offerings together with our technical experts, and accompany the sales process from the first contact to the successful project start. In addition, you will support our customers on an ad hoc basis as an Embedded and IoT Consultant.

• Business Development: You identify new customers, projects, and business potentials in the Embedded and IoT environment. In doing so, you build sustainable relationships with technical contact persons, decision-makers, and executives and further develop existing customers.
• Customer Consulting & Discovery: You analyze business and technical customer requirements, derive suitable solution and project approaches from them, and plan and moderate customer meetings, discovery workshops, and pre-sales activities.
• Solution Development & Pre-Sales: You develop convincing solutions and offers together with our consultants, architects, and engineers.
• Bid Management: You coordinate tenders and orchestrate internal bid and expert teams.
• Market & Portfolio Development: You observe relevant market and technology trends and specifically develop our service portfolio.
• Consulting: If required, you take on selected consulting tasks, for example, in the analysis of system landscapes, the evaluation of solution architectures, or the selection of suitable technologies.
• Business & Delivery: You connect business, sales, and technical delivery and ensure that business opportunities turn into realistically implementable projects.

HOW YOU SUCCEED

• Education: You have completed a degree in electrical engineering, computer science, technical computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• Embedded & IoT: You have several years of practical experience in the Embedded or IoT environment, for example, in consulting, solution architecture, system engineering, technical project management, or software development. You have experienced Embedded or IoT projects in practice and understand their typical requirements, dependencies, and risks.
• Business Development: You bring experience in business development, technical sales, pre-sales, or consulting and enjoy acquiring new customers as well as building long-term business relationships.
• Technical Understanding: You understand the structure of Embedded and IoT systems – from hardware, firmware, and operating systems to connectivity and edge components to the cloud.
• Technical Consulting: You can analyze technical requirements as well as realistically assess feasibility, risks, and efforts. You are familiar with relevant topics such as microcontrollers, real-time systems, Embedded Linux, communication protocols, device management, or IoT security.
• Architecture & Technology: You can professionally classify solution architectures and technology decisions and involve the right technical experts. Programming knowledge is an advantage but is not the focus in this role.
• Communication: You are able to convey complex technical contexts in an understandable and target-group-oriented manner. You appear confident and convincing towards specialists, management, and C-level.
