The role... You will become part of our four-member facilities management team and together ensure that our plant premises and infrastructure function reliably at all times. With your technical understanding, your hands-on mentality, and your organizational talent, you will make an important contribution to a safe, modern, and efficient production site. How you will make a difference... • Managing the plant premises and ensuring flawless building maintenance • Planning, coordinating, and monitoring maintenance, repair, upkeep, and renovation work on building facilities (e.g., building services/facility technology) • Supervising and supporting external repair and maintenance companies • Managing the material warehouse as well as procuring consumables using SAP S/4HANA • Performing administrative tasks in facilities management, such as orders, internal publications, and updating building plans • Supporting safety tasks as well as planning and implementing office moves as required • Assisting with the management of the locking system (e.g., database management, badge/key issuance/return, programming door access) • Operating the fire alarm system at the Rapperswil SG plant What you bring... • Completed basic vocational training in a manual trade (e.g., as Fachfrau/Fachmann Betriebsunterhalt EFZ or comparable training) • Experience in coordinating maintenance, renovation, or building projects is an advantage • Proficient use of MS Office; SAP S/4HANA knowledge is an advantage • Category B driver's license as well as a forklift license is an advantage • Very good German skills in speaking and writing; English skills are an advantage • Enjoyment of technical topics as well as an independent, practical, and solution-oriented way of working with organizational skill and professional handling of different stakeholders What do we offer? • Company contribution of 50% to an annual commuter subscription, and the employee additionally receives the entire transport association (ZVV/Ostwind) • Own cafeteria with dining options at affordable prices • Central location in the middle of Rapperswil with close public transport connections and many restaurants and shopping facilities • Annual working time (based on a 40-hour week) with flexible working hours • Above-average continued payment of wages in the event of accident or illness We look forward to hearing from you soon!
