E-commerce is ready at ALBIRO. Now we want to really get started with it.

At ALBIRO, much is already present: webshops, products, SAP, interfaces, and processes. In B2B, the foundations work well, and much has also been built up in B2C. Now we are looking for you, a clever person who can do more with it – pragmatic, technically skilled, and with a joy for taking action.

The position is newly created and offers a lot of creative freedom. You will take on a central role in e-commerce across three subsidiaries and bring the missing know-how into the company. In doing so, you will work independently, think entrepreneurially, and continue to develop our existing solutions step by step. With increasing experience, you will take on additional responsibility in B2B and with new customer projects.

Your task

You are the central point of contact for our e-commerce and ensure that our webshops function in everyday life, products and content are up to date, and orders run smoothly.

In doing so, your tasks will include, among others:

Technology & Operations

• Technical support and further development of our webshops across three subsidiaries
• Ensuring smooth day-to-day business regarding products, content, orders, interfaces, and processes
• First-level support as well as analysis and pragmatic solution of errors – independently or together with our external partners
• Close cooperation with our external, English-speaking Magento partner
• Support and maintenance of articles as well as the POS solution Magestore

B2C & Online Sales

• Initially a focus on B2C, perspectively also support of B2B e-commerce (Magento/Zugseil)
• Implementation and management of actions, promotions, and sales
• Analysis of shopping cart abandonments and customer behavior with Google Analytics and implementation of suitable measures
• Increasing visibility and reach, especially through SEO
• Support and further development of B2C newsletters

Further Development & Know-how

• Further development and optimization of our Magento webshops
• Contributing e-commerce know-how and building corresponding competencies in the company

What you bring

You do not have to be a finished e-commerce professional. More important are curiosity, technical understanding, and the desire to tackle things. You recognize problems, think along, and do not look long for responsibilities, but for solutions.

• Interest in e-commerce, webshops, and digital solutions
• Technical affinity and joy in systems, interfaces, and data
• Experience in e-commerce, ideally also with SAP; Magento experience is a plus
• Ideally knowledge in Google Analytics, SEO, or digital marketing
• Joy in getting to the bottom of errors and implementing solutions
• Independent, pragmatic, and reliable way of working with high personal responsibility
• Entrepreneurial thinking and a good sense for customers, customer journey, and turnover
• Strong communication skills and joy in collaborating with internal teams and external, English-speaking partners
• Good German and English skills
