Work location: Baar (home office within the framework of flexible working models) Workload: 80-100% Tasks: As the technical lead for data warehouse engineering and architecture, you are the technical sparring partner of the team management for modeling, integration, and platform decisions. You further develop the Data Vault 2.0 core architecture, define binding standards for modeling, architecture, and development, and conduct reviews. You develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes based on Azure Data Factory and SQL, ensure data quality, historization, and performance, and expand CI/CD pipelines including automated tests. In addition, you are the technical contact person for Product Owners and specialist departments, evaluate modern platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake with a view to AI and advanced analytics applications, and work closely with the BI and reporting teams. Profile: You bring several years of experience as a Senior Data Engineer, Data Warehouse Architect, or in a comparable senior role, possess deep know-how in Data Vault 2.0 and dimensional modeling, as well as sound knowledge in relational data modeling and data integration architectures. You have extensive Azure experience (Azure Data Factory, SQL Database, Storage, Azure DevOps), very good SQL knowledge, and practice in complex, productive ETL/ELT pipelines. Experience with Databricks and/or Snowflake is a clear plus point. You work in a structured and independent manner, think architecturally, and communicate excellently. Very good German language skills are required.
