We are looking for the Freight Unit, a DUTY MANAGER FRET (M/F/D) OCCUPATION RATE | 100% STATION | GENÈVE AÉROPORT MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead teams, promote high-level professionalism and a good collaborative atmosphere Ensure the proper application of Swissport's instructions, customer companies and airport authorities. Stay permanently informed of changes and updates to applicable rules. Ensure that staff does the same Spontaneously carry out quality checks and initiate any necessary corrective action Maintain optimal operational functioning of the unit, in accordance with fixed goals and standards Assign tasks to teams taking into account operational priorities Write reports to report any irregularities, within the given deadlines Ensure internal and external communication; represent Swissport to customers for operational issues Promote the personal development of employees, by supervising them so that they can gain autonomy and broaden their skills. Encourage the maintenance of good practices; set personal goals to improve individual performance and ensure follow-up SKILLS PROFILE Ease with computer tools; ability to provide technical support Ability to write detailed reports in English and French, in order to be able to provide information in case of irregularities Sharp professional conscience, sense of responsibility, initiative and service spirit, willingness to develop and maintain the quality of our services at an optimal level Ability to analyze, anticipate, make autonomous decisions on the operational level Willingness to be involved in a process of continuous improvement, both operationally and organizationally REQUIREMENTS Experience in a supervisor, team leader or operational manager position in Air Freight Excellent knowledge of French, English B2 minimum Forklift license a serious asset Definitive driving license category B CALENDAR Entry date: to be agreed If this offer appeals to you, thank you for applying directly online (with updated CV and cover letter).
